Historical/Biographical

On Sunday October 31, 2004, Tom started a Sunday morning Bible class at Arlington Presbyterian Church focusing on Luther's role in the history of the Reformation. It was a simple study focusing on the events that led up to the recovery of the gospel. When the study was finished, churchmember Ross Robinson submitted Tom's lessons to a popular Reformed website, Monergism.com, for consideration to be posted to their site.

John Hendryx at Monergism not only posted the series but promoted it giving it a prominent position on the site and later giving out free CD's containing both the lesson manuscripts and mp3's. As a result, the series has spread far and wide across the web and has created an interest not only in that series but in other series Tom has done.

A lot has changed since October 2004. Tom is no longer at APC. Still the interest in the Reformation continues elsewhere. May the Lord Jesus cause that to continue until the truth of the gospel fills the earth.
