On Sunday October 31, 2004, Tom started a Sunday morning Bible class at Arlington Presbyterian Church focusing on Luther's role in the history of the Reformation. It was a simple study focusing on the events that led up to the recovery of the gospel. When the study was finished, churchmember Ross Robinson submitted Tom's lessons to a popular Reformed website, Monergism.com, for consideration to be posted to their site.
John Hendryx at Monergism not only posted the series but promoted both it and Tom's series on Romans. As a result, both series have spread far and wide across the web and have created an interest not only in those two series but in other studies Tom has done as well.
A lot has changed since October 2004. Tom is no longer at APC. He is now the Assistant Pastor at Grace Community Presbyterian Church in Keller, Texas where he worships with his wife Beverly, their children and their grandchildren. Time has passed but it doesn't seem to have diminished the growing interest in the Reformation. May the Lord Jesus cause that interest to grow and continue until the truth of the gospel fills the whole earth.
